Kampung Daun is a cafe located in the outskirt of Bandung, on the way to the Lembang highland. The place itself is great, designed very naturally with a lot of plants and even waterfall. Here, you don't reserve a table, instead you can choose a "saung", a traditional hut, where you can sit with your group in private. The food is also OK, you have many choices of indonesian or sundanese food and even steak.

2 Days in Kintamani, Bali

This year I went to Kintamani highland in Bali. Famous sightseeing there is the Lake Batur with view of the Mountain Batur. Because I didn't go to the tourist attraction, I didn't take many pictures. However staying over night in my uncle's place with the amazing view from bed room was better then that.

Songgoriti and Selecta highlands are located near to each other. They are located about 150 km southern from Surabaya and would take about 2 hours drive to reach them.

These 2 area are famous mostly for the local tourist, specially for the nice cool highland temperature and also for the sulfur spring bath. The panorama of the surrounding mountains with some small flower garden can also be seen there.

Kuta Beach

Well... I went to Kuta beach only for less than 1 hour. In fact I went there short before I left Bali. The main purpose was to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and the Hard Rock Hotel shops to search for some T-Shirts.

On that day, it was 1 day after the storm swept over Bali. So the wind was still quite strong and blew the sand everywhere. Because it was still 1 pm, the beach was quite empty. Well that wasn't important anyway, since I just wanted to look around for a while and take some pictures.

Taman Gapura Citraland

Well... today is Saturday, and just finished my dinner, a german Schlemmerfillet, frozen one of course....
Suddenly I remember those Indonesian food, nice and cheap food.....

On Saturday this is one of the place I and my friend use to go in Surabaya. I don't really know the name for the place, but it's located in Jalan Taman Gapura, in Citraland / Citraraya real estate in west part of Surabaya.

Taman Gapura is the street name, and on the side of the street, there are so many restaurants, and food stalls, mostly they have indoor room, but most of the people just love to eat outside.

I haven't tried everything there, because most of the time I went there, we just seat near the 2 food seller, which selling "Tahu Campur" (Mixed Tofu soup) and "Tahu Telor" (Tofu and Egg, with black peanut sauce), these 2 food are one of the typical Javanese food, and one of my favorite. The food prices are considerably cheap, the location is clean and nice, specially at night it's not too hot to eat on the side of the street.
