1 day trip to Simsee lake with Christoph, Delphine and Benny

Simssee lake is located near Rosenheim, about 1 hour driving from Munich. The weather was fine on that day, just a bit windy and sometimes cloudy. We go to the lake side on the Stephanskirchen area. The place is not big, but not full, however the beach is not nice because of the pebble stones. The lake itself is not very big. But probably because of that , it is better for people who use rubber boat, because there are not many larger sailing or motor boat around. The lake is also good and safe for swimming, since the lake rescue guard is directly located there. In the middle of the lake, there is a floating platform, where you can have a sunbath. The view of the lake with the alp in the background is also beautiful. The german way to describe it is just like what Christopf said: "Es it einfach idyllisch!!!"

Highland recreation area in southern part of East Java

Songgoriti and Selecta highlands are located near to each other. They are located about 150 km southern from Surabaya and would take about 2 hours drive to reach them.

These 2 area are famous mostly for the local tourist, specially for the nice cool highland temperature and also for the sulfur spring bath. The panorama of the surrounding mountains with some small flower garden can also be seen there.

Kuta Beach

Well... I went to Kuta beach only for less than 1 hour. In fact I went there short before I left Bali. The main purpose was to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and the Hard Rock Hotel shops to search for some T-Shirts.

On that day, it was 1 day after the storm swept over Bali. So the wind was still quite strong and blew the sand everywhere. Because it was still 1 pm, the beach was quite empty. Well that wasn't important anyway, since I just wanted to look around for a while and take some pictures.

Dimsum in SS2 - 10 March 2007

Around 7 in the morning I already arrived in Millennium Court to see my lovely 2 old friends Sze Yee and Yuit Fong. Well, there should be 1 more old friend (Anita), who was still staying in MC, but too bad that she went home on that day. In addition to them were Kenny and Yudy, so in total we went to SS2 on 5.

SS2 is actually located in PJ. But from MC, it is the nearest area where you can have dimsum I guess. Beside that, I want to go to SS2 to remember back the nice time when I had dimsum on new year 2005 with Yuit Fong and her friends.

Well don't ask me what the food is called, basically each of us just took what we wanted until the table was full. In my case... there were 2 things that I really2 wanted, which are Lo Mai Gai and the Chee Chong Fun. We ate ate and ate.... at the end.. everything just cost around 60 RM.

After Nymphenburg castle, we went directly to Olympia Park. After snow fall, many people will go to olympia park, mostly to play sledge on the olympia hill and to watch the amazing winter the panorama from the top of the hill. Well.. now I proof it to be true. The view of the whole area was very beautiful. Everything was covered with snow and the lake was frozen too. It was a sunny day, we could see the city and even the Allianz Arena from there. And as expected, there were many people playing sledge. It looks fun... I think I'll buy one someday.
