Shanghai

After going to Badaling and Longqingxia, we on 2 took the night train for 11 hours from Beijing to Shanghai. 1 way ticket cost almost 500RMB for a place in sleeper car. There are cheaper trains, but they would take much longer than 11 hours. In Shanghai, we stayed in Effendy's appartment, near the Caobao Lu subway station.

Lucky took me to the Shanghai Normal University, the place where he learns chinese. We ate in the University cafetaria, which was another nice experience eating student food for 5 RMB Well in Shanghai I had more opportunity to enjoy the city.

Unlike in Beijing, in Shanghai I didn't go to any big tourism attraction. I also had the experiece to walk completely alone and was forced to do some conversation with the chinese people.
