What did we order??
Yik Lun odered a portion of Schweinehaxn. It's served with 2 Kartoffelknödel and a portion of Krautsalat mit Speck.
And I, since I wanted something that I didn't know, I just picked something, which name was unknown for me. On the card it's written as Weisser und Schwarzer Pressack (White and Black Pressack). Once it's served, actually I know this thing already under the name Sulze (or at least it looks and tastes similar). It's a mix of pork meat, which is served within clear gelatine form (weisser=white). The black one is served in something similar, but additionally it uses the pork blood as ingredients.
Tips for non german speakers
Try to ask for menu cards in other language. They have some menu card in different language (I saw one in english and italian). This one I noticed after I tried very hard (but didn't really work) to help some american tourists to explain what those food are.
