Oliver, my university mate @ FH Wiesbaden is coming to Munich specially for the Oktoberfest. On Sunday, I joined him and his 2 school friends, Bianca and Silke to Oktoberfest, for the third time. It was around 12 and we already couldn't enter the Schottenhammel Zelt. We moved to Hacker Pschorr Zelt, but there we waited to find table for more than 30 minutes, without any success. The tent beside the Hacker Pschorr tent is the Hofbräu Festzelt. It is the biggest tent in the Oktoberfest and there... we finally got a table. |
Short story... we had lunch there... The "Schweine Krustenbraten" (Fried or grilled Pork with it's crispy skin) was delicious. It belongs to the cheap big meal there and cost ONLY about €12.
The beer costs €7,5 for each Maß (1 litre glass) and taste good. In total, I ordered 3 Maß, but it was only because wee stayed there till night. There were many foreigners and also some funny germans which made the athmosphere more lively...
