Olympia Park - Munich

Walking around the Olympia stadium in Munich

After going to Nymphenburg castle and having lunch, we directly went to the Olympia stadium. To go to the Olympia stadium, you have to take the U-Bahn line 3 until the last station, Olympiazentrum.

The area around the Olympia stadium (Olympiastadion) is quite large. It is a nice place to go jogging or to have a walk and it's also suitable for tourist, as long as the weather is fine.
There are several things you can see there, such as the Olympia Tower, BMW Museum, the Olympia lake and of course the stadium.

The weather was nice, but there was an bicyle race event around the lake on that day, so we didn't have a walk around. Instead, we decided to go up till the top of the hill. The view from the hill is amazing. You can see the whole areal, and even can see the whole city from there. I even heard that if the sky is clear, you will be able to see the snow on the alps.
