Englischer Garten - München

English Garden - Munich

Well it's my first time walking around the "englischer garten" in Munich. The garden is located not far from Marienplatz, which is the central of the city.

So.. Ivan and me start to walk from the Hofgarten in Odeonsplatz and walk until the other side of the garden..
The garden is quite huge... you can spend at least 1 hour to walk around the garden, watching the small river, pond, temple, chinese tower and walk till the lake.

Amazing for me is the small river, which has very strong current. In fact, near one bridge some people use the small but strong waves to surf. Yes... they use the normal surf board, that you normally see on the beach.....

Well surfing on it, I wouldn't try... but swimming, which some children also even do despite the strong current... I'll try it someday....
